APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Human Resource Management / Industrial Psychology
• Min 5 years general HR experience gained within the hospitality industry (not negotiable)
• Must be highly organised with excellent interpersonal skills
• Valid drivers license & own reliable transport


KPA’S
• Recruitments and selection in consultation with managers
• Training and Development (keep records of training and assist enrolment)
• Performance management – assist managers with probationary reviews ensuring these are conducted every month for the first 3 months
• Payroll – ensure necessary and relevant information be sent through to payroll timeously
• Forms
o Ensure all leave captured on weekly basis
o Ensure all WCA claims are captured
o Manage BBEEE input
o Provide monthly HR reports by management
• EE
o Ensure EE meetings are held regularly by EE committee
o Ensure EE plan is submitted accord to the EE legislation
• Admin
o Ensure the relevant documentation is correct for each appointment and termination for each month for payroll deadline
o Process and administer queries, applications, billing statements, etc
o Prepare weekly warning sheets to be sent to managers
o UIF and WCA administration
o Create and maintain confidentially active and terminated personnel employee files
o Leave capturing and submitted to payroll
o Assisting personnel with queries and assistance when needed after consulting with manager

o Ad hoc duties
• Attend ILS training
