Human Resource Officer – Southern Suburbs, Cape Town, Western Cape

The HR Officer is responsible for development, management, coordination and administration of Human Resources practices (1000 staff) and objectives that promote a high performance culture and provides operational HR support across all departments.

Minimum Requirements:
• Matric, with National Diploma in Human Resources
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a HR Generalist / Practitioner
• Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) skills
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible to develop, implement and maintain HR Administrative functions
• Responsible to review and update current HR policies and procedures
• Ensure all mandatory reports such as Workplace Skills Plan, Annual Training Report, Employment Equity are submitted timeously
• Provide assistance to the business with regards to talent management and assist to identify top performers with management
• Provide assistance with the implementation and maintenance of an effective Performance Management system in the organisation
• Manage and administrate salary grading and benchmarks for pay scales
• Implement recruitment strategy in line with organisation’s strategy and objectives
• Assist management and with staffing solutions and provide an effective and professional recruitment and selection service to the business
• Manage all Learning and Development initiatives
