The successful candidate will be in charge of providing strong administrative support to the Human Capital Development Manager whilst being the main support line for employees in order to achieve a strong service delivery within the HR department.

Job Description

Responsible for recruitment and admin control of the recruitment processes
Responsible for the placing of adverts
Will be in charge of application reviewing and the portfolios of candidates
Responsible for shortlisting and doing reference checks on new staff
Must send emails to the Manager for his/her opinion of candidate portfolios
Must manage the interview process
Conduct & issue offer letters, letters of appointment and the cost of employment as required by the EE policy & budget approvals
Must ensure all finished employment take on pack is received on time and issued to payroll to capture
In charge of employee inductions process
Must assist in the coordination with payroll of new comers/leavers
Must conduct exit interviews for staff resignations
Must conduct & issue the relevant termination paperwork to staff who’s employment/contract ends
Monthly, monitor and thereafter approve the updates of the company’s organograms
Responsible to set up new staff’s probationary reviews
Must ensure probation reviews are correctly scheduled and achieved
Must attend probation reviews when needed
Must coordinate staff welfare programmes
Responsible for managing all benefits such as medical aid new applications, provident funds etc.
Manage the expenditure and upgrades of Stalcor & GRS cell phone contracts
Responsible for employee files & audits
Responsible for staff matters, Employee Relations and providing relevant support to managers
Must attend shop stewards meetings to record and distribute minutes to both companies shop stewards and management meetings
Occasionally will be requested to book flights for managers & employees
Will be doing all ad-hoc duties

Minimum Requirements

Must have 5 years previous experience as an HR Officer
Must have relevant HR qualifications
Must have SAGE VIP experience
Proficient in MS office
Must have a valid driver’s license
