HR Officer - Stellenbosch

Well Established in Stellenbosch is looking for a HR Office with 1-2 years’ experience within an HR environment

Minimum Requirements
• Matric, with Degree/Diploma in Human Resources Management/Business Administration.
• At least 1 – 2 years’ working experience within an HR environment.
• Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Previous payroll experience will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous, detailed and well-organised with the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
• Processing and administering appointment and termination documentation
• Recruitment and selection: this includes preparing advertisements, checking application forms, shortlisting candidates, conducting verification checks and liaising with candidate on all issues
• Monthly payroll administration
• Creating and maintaining confidential active and terminated up to-date personnel files and ensuring all required documents are in place
• Monthly leave reconciliation
• Responding to daily HR queries
• Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation
• Providing administrative support to the HR department
• Completing ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the HR Manager
