HR Officer / Training Officer – Bellville Cape Town

Our Client is looking for a HR / Training Officer in Cape Town Northern Suburbs. Recruitment and selection important

Min Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Labour Relations
A thorough understanding of all appropriate Acts (LRA, BCEA, OSH, EEA, SDA)
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a generalist within a highly unionized environment essential
Work experience within a factory environment would be an advantage
Experience in the management of skills development, employment equity and health and safety
Strong industrial relations skills
CCMA experience
Fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans)

Duties include:

Recruitment and Selection
Skills development - coordinate, and conduct training sessions
Employment equity initiatives – ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
Performance Management and People Development
Ensure personnel records are up-to-date
Facilitate the management of disciplinaries and grievances
Advise, coach and support line on the implementation of HR policies and procedures
HR reporting and administration
Employee wellness initiatives
Drive employment equity, health and safety
