HR OFFICER – MANUFACTURING & ENGINEERING

Large manufacturing / engineering concern is looking to appoint an HR OFFICER – reporting to the HR Manager. The suitable candidate will be responsible for a generalist HR function with specific focus on IR, Bargaining Council, Recruitment and Selection. Based in Paarl.

SUITABLE CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant tertiary qualification – HR Related Qualification (Degree)
• Minimum 3 to 4 years experience in a similar role within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment
• Experienced in Recruitment and Selection, IR (Union negotiation), Labour Relations and Bargaining Council. (MEIBC)
• Confidentiality, tact and discretion essential when dealing with people.
• Ability to work within a team and independently.
• Ability to multi-task and manage demanding workload in a pressurised environment.
• Excellent problem solving skills coupled with the ability to think on your feet.
• Ability to work to deadlines and deliver results.
