Main job objective To co-ordinate and perform a full HR Generalist function for both the Musina and Marble Hall units in Limpopo. To ensure legal compliance and drive various workplace improvement initiatives. The position requires moderate to frequent travelling depending on season.

Required
A 3 year Diploma/ degree in Human Resource Management
Knowledge of employee benefits administration and HR
Solid IR and ER exposure in a unionised environment
A minimum of 5 years related HR experience
A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.

Required Competencies
Good written and oral communication skills in English and Venda

Skills and Knowledge
Ability to set up and maintain a well organised administrative HR system
Computer literacy, with a good working knowledge of Excel minimum intermediate level
Ability to generate schedules and Excel spreadsheets
Figure orientated with attention to detail
Well organised and ability to properly manage time and resources
Ability to Interpret local languages
Strong Industrial and Employee relations skills
Ability to influence other, take initiative and focus on proactiveness
Strong working knowledge of all legislation that impacts the employee / employer relationship
Customer service orientation

Key Objectives
Execution and co-ordination of administrative tasks pertaining to retirement funds, medical aid, employee records and other benefits
Compile management statistics and reports
Recruitment: Processing and administration of appointments, promotions and transfer contracts, permanent and seasonal / monthly and weekly paid
IR: workplace discipline and grievances; wage negotiations, CCMA representation,
ER: Union/Management engagement; employee / union feedback
Training and development; WSP and ATR preparations.
Employee wellness; Social transformation; Legal compliance
