REPORTING TO: HR Director
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Liaises with managers on recruitment needs and facilitate accordingly.
• Aligns skills provisioning with the company’s policies and guidelines and facilitates training and development initiatives/ programmes.
• Consolidates and submit workplace skills plan and reports to Seta.
• Attends to and refers Human resources customer needs If queries accordingly
• Provides support to managers/sites in terms of role clarification, disciplinary enquiries. etc.
• Assists in drafting of performance contracts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES
• Matric
• National Diploma in HR or Degree in HR
• 3-4 years HR experience and 2 year experience as an SDF
• Experience in dealing with Unions
• Knowledge and experience of SA labour legislation
• Good communication skills
• Good negotiation/influencing skills
Strong interpersonal skills (ability to work effectively across functions)
