Human Resources Officer Private Hospital

REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12 or equivalent certificate.
3-year Diploma / Certificate in Human Resource Administration / Recruitment.
At least 3-year experience within a Human Resources working environment.
At least 3-year relevant recruitment experience highly recommendable.
Computer Literate in all MS Office applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Establish and maintain sound Human Resources practices in respect of Recruitment & Selection.
Ensure that suitable candidates are employed and placed in all permanent or temporary positions within the Company by complying with the Company’s Recruitment & Selection Policy.
Coordinate the entire recruitment and selection process which include all interview arrangements, circulars and communique related thereto.
The Recruitment Officer’s role continues beyond recruitment in that he/she will actively participate in the Company’s Micro and Macro Orientation Program thus ensuring new appointees have been properly inducted and orientated in respect of their new positions.
Attend to and participate in operational meetings, In-Service Training Sessions, working within a team culture providing support and encouragement to all team members.
Embark on monthly follow-ups with newly appointees and monitor progress.
Conduct monthly Exit Interviews with all staff who are leaving the Company’s employment with the aim to establish a framework for improvement in terms of staff retention.
Keep up to date with all legal and other HR developments with regards to Recruitment & Selections.
Policy Development: Assist with the compilation and review of old and new HR policies and maintain an updated policy manual for distribution to all units and departments.
Performance Appraisals: Assist with review of job descriptions and output models.
Maintain all HR master files in an updated state.
To assist the Human Resources Manager with additional ad-hoc requests, duties if and when required.
SKILLS:

Interest in Human Resources and experience of dealing with recruitment administration.
Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office in particular Word, Excel and Outlook.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to work independently and to meet deadlines.
Maintain a sound working relationship with Hospital Senior Management, Head of Departments, Unit Managers, staff members and all other departments, outsourced companies, recruitment agencies, trade union organizations, media agencies, etc.
