Reporting directly to the Group HR Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Employee & industrial relations
• Skills Development: Implementation of workplace skills plan, annual reporting
and other relevant administration
• Recruitment in line with company strategy and on-boarding
• Assist with policy development
• Administration & reporting of Employment Equity
• Occupational Health & Safety
• Injuries on Duty administration and reporting.
Requirements:
• Relevant 3-year tertiary qualification
• Minimum 5 years HR Generalist experience
• Sound ER knowledge & experience
• Valid driver license & own transport
• Will be required to travel between company sites.
Skills & Competencies:
• Above average interpersonal communication at all levels
• Must be able to work independently and under pressure
• Conflict management and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of employment legislation (BCEA, EEA, LRA, SDA, OHSA)
• Computer Literate (MS Office, Sage People or VIP, Time and Attendance Software).
