Job Description:

To identify staff vacancies, manage, recruitment function, including preparing adverts; short listing; performing reference checks; interviewing and selecting candidates
Staff orientation and induction
Experienced in policies, grievance and disciplinary procedures, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
Perform and administer disciplinary procedures
Ensure that the company’s personnel procedures are strictly adhered to
Properly maintaining personnel files
Advise managers on organizational policy matters and recommend changes
Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data.
Training and Development
Conducting exit interviews
Represent the hotel at personnel related hearings and investigations
With Labour Consultant, negotiate bargaining agreements with relevant union/s
Study legislation to assess industry trends
Payroll management, using VIP Payroll program
Administer external payments e.g. UIF, garnishee orders, Emp 201’s etc.
Responsible for year-end Tax
Manage and administer employee benefits i.e. Provident Fund
Liaising with external providers of Employee Benefits
Compile and submit statutory reports e.g. Employment Equity Report, Workplace Skills Plan etc.
Managing and maintaining BBBEE Certification

Qualifications:

A minimum of 3-4 years Human Resources Management experience
Human Resource or related Qualification.
Experience in VIP Payroll
