HR Officer - Cape Town

The Human Resource Officer is responsible for providing support in the various human resource functions, which include recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counselling. The Human Resource Officer provides advice and assistance to supervisors and employees.

The HR Officer provides Human Resources support to the Head Office, Distribution Centre and Stores Nationally.

The HR Officer will offer support to the organisation by:

Performing the recruitment function
Orientating new starters
Monitoring probationary employees
Managing Employee Annual Leave and Liability
Preparing employee contracts, welcome packs and employee record keeping
Supporting Payroll
Ensuring the maintenance Employment Equity Module on VIP
Scheduling and recording all training
Coaching and guiding Management with Disciplinary Matters
Preparation of monthly and adhoc reporting
The HR Officer will serve on the following committees:

Transformation Committee
Occupational Health and Safety Committee
Requirements:

BTECH: Human Resources Management

2 years’ experience as a HR Administrator

3 years’ as an HR Officer

Industry experience in: Retail, F&B, FMCG or QSR
