Our client requires the service of a HR Officer to provide support to the Group and ensure that it meets its business and organisational objectives by supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems, through the delivery of a wide range of HR services.

Key performance areas:

? Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
? Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, conducting interviews and managing the hiring process
? Create and implement effective onboarding plans
? Implement training plans
? Assist with ATR / WSP submissions
? Assist in performance management processes
? Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements
? Maintain human resource data bases to ensure correct recording of all staff and employment related information as required.
? Coordinate and maintain the Human Resources personnel e-filing systems.
? Process the monthly payroll across all companies within the group
? Assist with preparation of HR reports as required.
? Assist with staff queries
? General HR Admin

The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a Diploma or Degree in HRM / B.Comm (Psych) or related field
? Minimum of 3 years HR experience and successful track record working within HR (recruitment, payroll, generalist positions)
? Knowledge of BCEA, LRA, and related HR acts.
? Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
? Must be adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve them in a timely manner
? Must be able to prioritise and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
? High attention to detail
? Energetic and optimistic attitude
