HR & Payroll Administrator

Area: Kyasands, Randburg

Package: R25000 P/M

Position Overview:
The Human Resources & Payroll Administrator ensures that all the required policies and procedures are developed and maintained. She will ensure that the company’s human resources are taken care of and that company policies and procedures are adhered to and ensures that all payroll information is obtained and carried over to the payroll system accurately.

Duties as HR Administrator

• Performance Management
• Personnel Administration
• Employment Equity
• Industrial Relations
• Policy formulation
• Miscellaneous
? Manage and conduct all disciplinary action such as warnings and disciplinary hearings
? Assist Management with Counseling sessions with employee’s
? Create and update the Company Organogram


Duties as Payroll Administrator
• Obtain information from the clocking system and ensure that all employees have clocked in and out daily
• Complete annual leave, sick leave and family responsibility leave forms with employees
• Ensure that all new employees’ complete the necessary documentation; create a new file for each employee
• Update the banking details where needed
• Create payroll export documents for each employee on the clocking system at month end
• Capture all payroll information on Pastel Payroll- leave, deductions, increases etc.
• Capture overtime for Cape Town branch
• Ensure that pay reconciliations, salary spreadsheets and loaded payments balance accordingly
• Update the salary spreadsheet with all salary information such as Gross pay, all company contributions and Net salary payable
• Print all employee payslips and distribute accordingly
• Load all salary payments on the Absa internet banking for authorization
• Ensure that all employees have been paid correctly and attach a proof of payment for reference purposes
• Update all employee files monthly by filing all personal information, leave, payslips and any other related documents
• Handle any queries from employees with regard to their salaries
• Process increases and annual bonuses yearly
• Process monthly Mibco and Provident fund returns for payment
• Update employee details on the Mibco and Liberty systems


Job Requirements:
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Good numerical skills

Education and Experience:
• Matric/Grade 12
• Human Resources Qualification
• 2 Years’ experience in Human Resources Management
• Experience of Pastel Payroll
