Purpose: To administer and facilitate the Group’s learning and development function and programmes, including:
? maintaining the competency framework for the Group and facilitating and coordinating the development and implementation of training plans on all the sites.
? working in conjunction with the HR Executive to ensure the submission of the annual WSP / ATR for South African companies.
? administering the Group’s financial aid/bursary programme.
? coordinating the development of in-house training material for the Academy and for other development and learning requirements using internal capacity and external vendors, as appropriate.
? conducting training as required, particularly train-the-trainer programmes.
? coordinating the enrolment and monitoring the performance of employees in Academy and International Hotel School programmes.
? coordinating and overseeing the internship programmes on the sites.
? maintaining appropriate databases and providing appropriate reporting and commentary to the HR Executive.
Requirements
? Relevant undergraduate degree or national diploma
? At least 3 years relevant experience within a formal learning and development/ training function or department
? Willingness to travel to sites
? Proficiency with Word, Excel and Powerpoint
