Our client, a leading Chrome Mining Group is looking for an experienced and qualified Human Resources Practitioner (Performance Management) person at their facility in Mooinooi near Rustenburg in the North West Province.

Purpose of the Job:
To implement the Performance and Talent Management System for employees and management in order for the organisation to attain its objectives.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Degree or Technikon Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent qualification
Registration as a Psychometrist will be advantageous
3 years relevant performance management experience of which 2 years should be in a supervisory role

Job Responsibilities:

SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY:
Comply with all SHEQ requirements

CUSTOMERS / SUPPLIERS:

Customer Relations:
Interact with customers and familiarise yourself with operational concerns and any inherent peculiarities
Ensure customer satisfaction

Suppliers Relations:
Liaise with HR suppliers

BUSINESS PROCESSES:

Performance Management:
Ensure that Individual Development Plans are in place and implemented for talent pools, fast tracking pools and succession planning
Ensure adherence to Performer System for senior positions
Career maps for all employees on succession
Analyse and report Training and Development statistics / metrics for the site
Tracking of poor performers
Ensure Mentorship programme is in place with tracking of mentorship relationships and contracts
Support compliance to the Social Labour Plan targets
Coordinate and implement targeted development programmes i.e. LDP, MDP, SDP, etc
Controlling of assessment process on site, including Dover assessments
Effective retention strategy
Coordinating of Job Management on site
Updating of relevant Policies and Procedures
HR and Business unit reporting

Bursars / Vacation Workers / In-Service Training:
Liaise with HO with regard to bursaries
Coordinate the vacation workers and in-service training
