My Client is in the process of recruiting an HR Practitioner to join their team for a maternity contract from July until November 2017.
The purpose of this role is to ensure effective Human Resources support to the business unit through adequate delivery of HR Services, practices, procedures.
Minimum Requirements
Skills & Knowledge:
• HR principles and practices
• Employment and labour legislation
• Health and safety policies and procedures
• Verbal and written communication
• Computer literacy
• People orientated
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Confidentiality, tact and discretion when dealing with people
Minimum Requirements
• Degree in Human Resource Management
• Valid Code EB drivers’ licence
• Must have at least 3-5 years’ experience as a HR generalist with a strong Industrial Relations background
Duties & Responsibilities
1) Employee Relations
• Provide advice to line managers regarding the conduct and misconduct management processes, investigate/process disciplinary cases and
investigate/process grievances.
• Review practices to ensure statutory compliance and regularly provide guidance to line managers.
• Participate in consultations with organised labour..
2) Resourcing
• Process permissions to recruit (workflow).
• Process the offers of employment/negotiation.
• Ensure that the Resourcing process is adhered to and jobs are timeously advertised
• Manage and conduct interviews with Line Managers
• Facilitate the orientation of new employees.
• Manage employee evaluations and terminations.

4) HR Administration
• Manage the capturing of HR information and data into the relevant systems and assure the integrity of the data.
