Our client in the agricultural industry requires the service of a self-motivated, service orientated and well-organized HR Practitioner, who will be responsible for implementing and maintaining human resources processes/systems in the company.

Key performance areas:

? Coordinate, maintain and monitor the operational units’ industrial relations and disciplinary/grievance policies and procedures (within a unionized environment)
? CCMA representation up to arbitration
? Recruitment, selection and on-boarding of employees
? Implementing CSI activities for business unit
? Assist with and coordinate relevant training & development initiatives
? Provide advice and support on all HR policy & procedure implementation
? Plan, organise and maintain all relevant legislative requirements as it relates to skills development and employment equity
? Responsible for HR, Legal and financial administration

The successful candidate must have:

? Matric with a Human Resources Degree / Diploma
? 3 - 5 years’ experience within an unionized operational/production environment
? Strong working knowledge of labour legislation
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
? Ability to speak isiXhosa will be an advantage
? Intermediate computer skills including a proficiency on Microsoft Office
? Results driven and a pro-active approach.
? Must have valid driver’s license and own transport
