HUMAN RESOURCES SENIOR MANAGER / EXECUTIVE – MIDRAND

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
In line with the values and strategies of the organisation and the principles of best practice the Incumbent shall be expected to:

? Develop a Human Resources strategy and plan aligned with business needs and ensure most effective utilization of resources at Group and Divisional levels
? Participate and contribute as a member of the management team responsible for HR strategic planning at Group and Divisional levels.
? Direct the implementation of HR initiatives and projects in line with the organisational balanced scorecard
? Develop and oversee the management of the Human Resources budget to ensure achievement of organisational objectives and Human Resources strategy
? Inform HR Operations through benchmarked policies and procedures that support the organisation’s business and effective turn-around time
? Drive continuous improvement of HR systems, process and people capability to introduce and/or support sustainable organisational change
? Create an organisational culture that will attract, develop, engage and retain talented employees, where people can realise their full potential
? Develop, Implement and institutionalise an integrated governance and Talent Management framework in order to build the organisation’s human capital for the future
? Develop key leadership Pipelines for the organisation’s Group and a Talent strategy to help ensure future leadership bench strength and succession for the organisation’s Group
? Ensure Performance Management practices that drive and embed a high performance culture and accountability in the organisation’s Group
? Ensure effective Employee and Labour relations within organization
? Lead and manage the property management function to ensure effective management of assets and facilities owned by the organisation.
? Serve as a trusted adviser and business partner to key stakeholders within the Group concerning HR
? Responsibility areas HR, Learning and development, Payroll and facilities.

REQUIREMENTS:
? The successful candidate should have practical skills, experience and demonstrated track record in managing and understanding this portfolio. Specifically, the candidate must have:-
? As a minimum, a relevant Bachelor’s degree augmented by a post graduate qualification in business/management.
? At least 8-10 years’ experience as a member of a senior executive team as an HR leader preferably within a large or complex organisation.
? Demonstrated Organisational Leadership at strategic and Operational Levels and Navigation within a complex Organisation;
? Ability to articulate the big picture, combined with a self-directed commitment to advancing and achieving agreed outcomes
? Significant exposure to the following HR disciplines:
? HR Strategic Planning and workforce Planning; Talent Management; Total rewards; Organisational Development and Change Management; Employee Relations; Leadership Development and Training
? Critically, the incumbent should have the following skills: Analytical Ability, Innovation; Creativity; Teamwork; Communication; Influencing and Leadership.
? Ms Office and strong excel / Project Management and Ms Project / VIP
? AA / EE
? DESIRABLE - Shared Service / Continental (Africa) experience / Industries - construction, power, manufacturing, engineering, rail
