My client, a reputable industry leader in the supply chain trade has an exciting opportunity for a Human Capital Administrator to join their team

The main purpose of this position:
Provide a professional Human Capital (HC) administrative support on site under the supervision of the HC Manager.

Key Performance Areas:

The duties will include but will not be limited to:

• Providing an effective Human Capital (HC) administrative support and serving as a first point of contact for all HC administrative related queries.
• Monitoring the effective administration of employment conditions for site employees.
• Planning and conducting new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward the Company’s objectives.
• Coordinating the Recruitment and Selection activities and ensuring the relevant policies, processes and standards are followed.
• Mediating employee queries by communicating with employees about their documentation and answering specific questions and queries.
• Assisting the IR Consultant with IR/ER administration and archiving relevant documentation accordingly.
• Coordinating all activities relating to Performance Management and reporting performance management statistics to the Operations Manager
and the Human Capital Manager.
• Ensuring all employees are trained on all HC policies, processes and standards.
• Ensuring that all employees comply and adhere to the HC policies, processes and standards.
• Serving as a support to the Employee Wellness Lead with regards to coordinating the Employee Wellness Programmes on site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Certificate/ National Diploma in Human Resource Management
• 3 – 4 years’ administrative experience
• Knowledge of the Employment Equity Act, Skills Development Act, Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act and all other
applicable legislation
• Knowledge of SETA landscape and National Human Resource Strategy
• Understanding of Human Capital policies, processes and standards.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Experience working on Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) such as S-cubed
• Detail oriented and sensitive to confidential information
• Good judgement and decision making skills
• Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills
• The capacity to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
