Key Performance Areas

To provide the back-office support for the SAP Human Capital relating to accurate data, reporting requirements, leave administration and implementation and testing for any SAP Human Capital related matters. Deliver HC reporting solutions to all levels of business through active participating in workshops and business analysis. To execute responsibilities ensuring adherence to governance processes.

Monitor integrity of data and highlight any inconsistencies
• Complete data audit checks monthly.
• Ensure Organisation Management position details maintained a correct.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the information.
• Monitor completeness of data on SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) system and request corrective action to be taken where appropriate.

Ensure System Compliance
• Monitor the system against the compliance requirements and take rectification actions where required
• Ensure compliance in accordance with policies, procedures and legal requirements
• Complete compliance actions within the allocated time frames
• Update data access profiles and security periodically so they are based on the most current information.
• Review authorisations
• Manage multiple linked databases to include security, data safety and integrity, disaster recovery and development and implementation of bulk data import/export procedures of HCIS.

Leave Administration
• Run leave accrual and payroll interface processes to facilitate integration of data.
• Monthly absence reports run and distributed to HC Business Partners.
• Leave re-routing.
• Monitor leave pending transactions
• Run time management

Maintain Organisation Management module and Personnel Administration
• Put relevant structures in place to maintain different systems as well as keep users informed.
• Create new positions, organisation structure and maintain Organisation Management to be aligned with the approved structure at all times.
• Ensure Vacancy management is up to date and positions de-limited where necessary.

Developed and provide reports from SAP
• Work with other stakeholders to help develop, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools to facilitate management information and informed decision making
• Generate management information and statistics to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Analyse Employment Equity and Skills Development information for purposes of calculation of the BBBEE score for the organisation. Assist with BBBEE verifications process for report submission

System Maintenance and Implementation
• Participate in the implementation of changes or upgrades to SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) in order to facilitate appropriate, relevant and integrated Human Capital Information Systems (HCIS).
• Develop with other stakeholders user requirement specifications for automated systems to facilitate the design of these systems to the satisfaction of end-users.
• Review and recommend process / customer service improvements and innovative solutions to SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) to improve Human Capital customer service to the Bank.
• Assist in the technical preparation of business process procedures and the development of end-user documentation or user manuals.

Human Capital System Support
• Put relevant structures in place to maintain different modules of SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) as well as keeping users informed of changes.
• Assist in the technical preparation of business process procedures and the development of end-user documentation or user manuals.
• Provide 1st and 2nd level support for SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) related incidents logged.
• Participate in workshops and presentations to validate the business design (blue printing) for new functionality and changes to the SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) system

Preferred Minimum Education and Experience

Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or other relevant qualification
• SAP HR Certification
• Minimum 8 years SAP reporting experience
• Minimum 3—6 years SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) experience, including Payroll, Organisational Management, Personnel Administration, Time Management. Learning Solutions Optimisation (LSO), Competency Management and Employee Self-service (ESS) / Managers Self-service (MSS), Performance Management
• Minimum 3-6 years Knowledge of systems security protocol, policies and procedures
