Human Capital Manager – Generalist - JHB

Leading managed healthcare company seeks suitably qualified / experienced, innovative and passionate Human Capital Manager with 5 years’ of Management and Generalist experience to join their dynamic team.

Salary: R550K CTC P/A (Negotiable)

Minimum Requirements
• B degree or National Diploma in HR or related field
• Business qualification or studying towards one
• At least 5 years’ experience in Management in a similar role
• VIP Payroll experience preferred
• Extensive knowledge of Labour Relations, HR Management methods and tools.
• Strong leadership, ability to manage and motivate, organise and delegate
Role Key Output:
• Develop HR policies, systems and procedures
• Ensure adherence of the Human Capital policies and employment legislation
• Design and ensure delivery of strategic Human Capital Operations initiatives to ensure continued business optimization
• Maintain and enhance HR administration systems and processes to ensure an alignment to the organization needs
• Ensure delivery of quality service to the organization
• Provide guidance and support to management regarding implementation of the employment legislation and HR policies
• Ensure the delivery of all Human Capital projects within the specific time frames including but not limited to Performance Management, Talent Management objectives, Workforce Planning, Learning and Development, delivery of Employment Equity numerical goals and strategic advice and support to line of business

CUSTOMER/STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
• Management of relationships between line of business and key stakeholders
• Ensure an overarching understanding of HR best practice and a knowledge of relevant legislation e.g. BCEA ,LRA etc
• Provision of expertise to lines of business so as to ensure the timely resolution of all HR related queries and requests
• Provision of strategic advice on Human Capital initiatives in order to ensure that best practice is adhered to within the Company

GROWTH
• Ensure that all human resources are appropriately managed in terms of performance and development including performance management and career development initiatives
• Assist with staffing and budgeting projections on a business unit wide basis
• Advise management on effective remuneration and benefit programs and policies. Have knowledge and understanding of global trends in the remuneration and benefits sector

COMPETENT AND EMPOWERED EMPLOYEES
• Develop Sourcing and Attraction strategy to support key HC initiatives such as the Employment Equity, Succession Management, and Talent Management etc
• Ensure that the needs and requests of the various lines of business are met in line with the HC Service Level Agreements and within acceptable turnaround times
• Ensure implementation of relevant change processes in line with the approved change projects i.e. Employment Equity etc
• Provide a sound platform to facilitate internal dispute resolution between various parties
• Participate in the salary negotiations and other related negotiations
