Salary: R14 000+ depending on experience.

A well-known property development company is looking for a dynamic, energetic Human Resource Officer for their business unit in Western Cape. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, high standards, excellent communication ability, excellent administration skills and the ambition to grow with this organisation. Min of 3 years’ experience and a Tertiary qualification (advantageous) in Human Resource Management.

Job Summary:
As a skilled HR Officer who will recruit, support and develop talent through developing policies and managing procedures. You will be responsible for administrative tasks and you’ll contribute to making the company a better place to work.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Executing and managing recruitment/selection process of employees.
• Create HR policies and procedures and ensure that these policies are adhered to.
• Managing the on boarding and termination of all employees.
• Administrate and collate all payroll information on a monthly basis.
• Administer all medical aid and retirement annuity applications for the group.
• Manage the employment relationship with staff members including discipline processes, poor performance and grievances and CCMA disputes
• Work in partnership with HOD’s to determine staff training needs.
• Facilitate the performance appraisals on a bi annual basis.
• Manage all IOD and ensure all relevant documentation is completed and submitted online.
• Ensure HR reporting is submitted timeously.
• Administrate general HR admin.
Requirements:
• Grade 12 with 3 year qualification in HR.
• At least 3 years’ experience in HR admin environment.
• Excellent knowledge of the BCEA and LRA.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to effectively communicate on all levels in the business.
• Displays self-motivation and drive to achieve task objectives.
• Ability to work independently, accurately and well under pressure.
• Must display strong admin skills and act professionally and in confidence at all times.
• Ability to act professionally at all times and handle matters with the necessary confidentiality.
