Job Description:
Human Resources Business Partner
Introduction
Develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and provide comprehensive human resources service to support the achievement of business strategic objectives as a Human Resources Business Partner at a risk and insurance services company. Ensure organisational compliance to HR policies, while building a culture of Performance Management within the division.
Description
Implement Regional HR Strategy
Drive the development of departmental HR strategies, goals and objectives and ensure the delivery thereof
Ensure compliance to HR policies and relevant legislation
Identify opportunities for updating and enhancing HR policies, processes and procedures to effect continual improvements in the division / Group and services
Facilitate the implementation of talent management within the division, from talent acquisition, retention etc
Assist in the identification and vetting of competencies for positions
Assist the business to effectively manage headcount and ensure accuracy of HR MIS
Produce monthly and quarterly reports for the division
Manage employee relations issues within the division, and refer accordingly
Advise on and coordinate remuneration practices (including ensuring regular updates of salary surveys for the division)
Facilitate the Annual Total Compensation Review process
Build a culture of Performance Management within the division
Facilitate the drafting, implementation and tracking of divisional transformation plans
Proactively identify and pre-empt HR risks within the division
Participate in HR and divisional meetings and attend relevant seminars
Perform other ad hoc HR projects as and when required
Support business in identifying training needs and formulating and implementing Personal Development Plan
Manage and development of the HR Administrator
Facilitate and drive employee engagement
Profile
Human Resources degree or equivalent formal qualification
Minimum 5 years' HR experience of which 3 years should be HR Consultant/Generalist
Knowledge of HR best practices
Computer literacy essential (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint)
