Our client in Research, Engineering and Technology Sector has a position for Human Resource Manager:Learning & Growth

Job purpose:
Human Resource Manager:Learning & Growth who will ensure delivery of the of training and development opportunities to leverage organizational development in an area of non SET

KEY REPONSIBILITIES
•Plan, develop and design staff development programs using knowledge of the effectiveness of the programs.
•Develop training and development strategy for non set staff.
•Manage career management processes through individual development plans and succession management ensuring strategic management of talent.
•Manage all non SET development programmes.
•valuate and modify learning ad development programmes.
•Manage and monitor spending against allocated budgets by assessing the return on investment of all training and development programmes.
•Ensure all recruitment practices realize the talent profile requirements of the organization.
•Partner with institutions to develop performance management improvement strategies and core competencies.
•Develop and manage performance evaluation, structure evaluation succession planning and career tracking initiatives.
•Analyze training needs to develop new training programs of modify and improve the existing ones.
•Draw up an overall training plan to meet objectives of the organization.
•Evaluate success of both individual training and overall programme.
•Manage regular staff appraisals and reviews making sure that staffs have opportunities for ongoing development.
•Maintain and improve the succession planning by ensuring adequate preparation for jobs requiring greater skill.
•Guide clients on the most appropriate training method.
•Reporting on skill development internally and externally.
•Take full responsibility for individual development programs for non set staff.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
•A national diploma or Bachelor’s degree in HR management, industrial psychology and/or related HR fields. A postgraduate degree will be an added advantage.
•A minimum of three to five years’ experience in training and development.
•HR generalist experience will be added advantage
