Our client requires the services of a suitably qualified, well-motivated and results driven Human Resources Manager to be appointed in Centurion, Gauteng.
Key Performance Areas
• Provide support to the company on all matters relating to HR
• Manage the HR team to provide effective HR services
• Oversee ER/IR and Learning and Development functions
• Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures, update on intranet and ensure all compliance
• Assist with talent management, succession planning and career development for staff through consultation
• Effective implementation of the company’s performance management system
• Conduct Job profiling and Job evaluation as required
• Initiate annual salary surveys to manage internal salary banding within the company
• Facilitate and implement HR Projects effectively
• Ensure full compliance with legal requirements for HR and payroll administration
• Report on HR metrics
• Ad hoc duties
Required Qualifications / Experience
• National diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Equivalent
• Post graduate qualification advantageous
• At least 8 years HR generalist experience in a unionised environment
• Solid experience or strong exposure into specialist functions: recruitment, learning and development, employee relations, remuneration, employee wellness and HR projects management
• Excellent planning, coordinating and organizational skills
• Good interpersonal, organizational, facilitation and negotiation skills
• Computer literacy – Microsoft Office Suite
• Fair exposure to SAGE VIP HR Information System
• Ability to work under pressure
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proactive and deadline driven
