KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Responsible for all HR administration.
• Responsible for all development and training of production staff including monitoring, scheduling, development and recommendation.
• Document Control: Maintain human resource data bases, update computer software systems and manual filing systems.
• Accurate completion and analysis of the monthly HR Board Report including compilation of action plans
• Accurate completion of the Annual Training Report and Workplace Skills Plan for relevant SETA.
• Accurate completion of the Department of Labour Reports – as required annually.
• Assist with medical aid and pension applications and enquiries from staff members as required.
• Co-ordination of staff functions and projects.
• Responsible for generating, up-dating of all employment contracts.
• Regular updating and monitoring of Transport contracts.
• Responsible for Recruitment and Selection including outsourced labour.
• Account management (Time sheets, invoices, payroll)
• Manage and monitor time and attendance system and ensure timeous sign off by management.
• Manage leave process, balances and sick leave.
• Any ad-hoc duties as outlined by the management
• Drive employment equity

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide specific research / investigation as required

KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of a 3-year Degree/Diploma in Human Resources/Industrial Psychology.
• Minimum of 3-4 years solid HR experience in a similar role
• Excellent English and Afrikaans verbal and written skills.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Sound Microsoft Office experience with advanced Excel skills
• HR Management System knowledge would be advantageous
