DUTIES:
Staff salaries
* All information accurately recorded on the payroll system
* Staff files kept up to date all times
* Payroll queries and duplicate IRP5’ handled
* Coordinate the receipt of all attendance registers, leave forms and supporting documentations and ensure accurate leave records are kept and leave accruals are controlled
* Liaison with providers of employee benefits, either directly or via the appropriate broker to ensure adequate processing of claims for pension withdrawals and transfers, death and incapacity claims as well as the processing of new applications and changes to benefits and to provide advice to employees and managers of such benefits
HR Administration
* Provide advice and assistance to staff and managers on all HR matters
* Issued documentation to staff are accurate, signed, updated and kept on record
* Compliance with all legislative reporting requirements, e.g. WSP, Annual training Report and EE Report
* Assist with the recruitment of staff by placing internal advertisements, ensure reference checks are done when requested, negotiating rates with employment agencies and procuring temporary staff members
* Assist with the exit interviews and the compilation of related reports
* Provide suggestions for improvement to the function and policies
* Coordinate approval of policies and ensure that these are placed on the intranet within 1 week of approval
* Coordinate the approval of study assistance through appropriate advice, completion of applications, administration and communication of decisions
* Arrange monthly induction programmes for new staff
* Prepare draft HR report quarterly for Board meetings and ensure that identified statistics are collated for this purpose
EXPERIENCE:
Previous HR administration and / or payroll experience essential. Accuracy, attention to detail and internal customer services orientation is important.
