Human Resources Officer - Krugersdorp
The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for leading the local HR team. This includes ensuring that policies and procedures are implemented and aligned to local business practices. The incumbent will also be expected to contribute to the entire HR value chain, from operational to strategic functions.
Duties of the role include:
Ensure that the development, implementation and compliance to policies and procedures, is inclusive of global policies
Negotiate and/or consult with blue collar employees relating to conditions of employment, in line with work legislative guidelines
Ensure that resourcing and talent management processes are in place with global processes and local legislation
Support managers and employees in the Annual Performance and Development Planning processes
Ensure company compliance with government legislation such as BBBEE, employee relations, work-force training etc.
The salary is market related
In order to be successful for this role, you would require at least 3 years experience at senior management level in an industrial environment. The sector can pose challenges uncommon to a "textbook" environment and this person would need the ability to apply critical thinking and innovative solutions to Human Resources. The candidate should have a relevant qualification in Human Resources and should be accustomed to global reporting. The organisation has a complex matrix structure and this individual should be able to successfully manage the relationships with global stakeholders.
