Our market-leader client in the Airconditioning industry requires an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join their dynamic team based in Brackenfell. The successful candidate will ensure projects run smoothly, are completed to specification and completed on time.

Duties and responsibilities:
• Attend a pre-start meeting with parties involved with pricing and design
• Attend any on site pre-start meetings with professional teams involved (Ducting or AC teams)
• Manage appropriate labour for the works involved
• Manage health and safety file (to be kept up-date as per requirements) where needed
• Attend all site meetings arranged by professional team
• Note / minute discussions at meetings and email all that attended the meeting with minutes outlining actions, responsible party & timelines (unless done by others)
• Ensure any specification changes to the installation are noted and quoted for
• Ensure VO if requested are quoted for & accepted before any works are carried out
• Ensure that for each day’s work the correct materials are on site to ensure progress and no time wastage - liaise with head office and suppliers to ensure this
• Ensure that the installation is being carried out to manufactures specification and well as general good practise
• Liaise with suppliers / manufactures to book commissioning dates
• Ensure that pre-commissioning check sheets are used and signed off before suppliers attend to commission.
• Ensure that the correct hours have been applied to works carried out by sub-contractors
• Ensure that payment claims are made timeously based on accurate installation percentage of work completed
• Communicate with Sales / Operations Director where potential problems are foreseeable
• Ensure that every project is completed and commissioning within project works program

Minimum requirements:
• Matric
• Relevant tertiary education (Advantageous)
• 2 - 3 years’ experience in a project management role within the HVAC industry

Salary on offer: R 20 000 p/m (Basic) + Benefits (Car allowance, fuel allowance, phone allowance & Laptop)
