Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Trade Tested as a Refrigeration Artisan (not negotiable)
- Degree/Diploma would be an advantage
- Minimum 1 to 3 years engineering production experience (pharmaceutical or related would be an advantage)
- Knowledge of HVAC and RO water
- Knowledge of computerised maintenance systems would be an advantage
- Computer literate
- Must be willing to work shifts and overtime

Responsibilities:
- Check, order and report resources to the Engineering Manager
- Ensure that equipment and machinery is checked and maintained fit for purpose
- Generate job cards on a daily basis for planned preventative maintenance and breakdowns
- Review job cards from the previous day to identify problems and implement corrective actions
- Attend to breakdowns
- Complete root cause & failure analysis
- Recommend improvements
- Carry out repairs and maintenance as per job card specifications
- Analyse and communicate technical information
- Complete documents and reports
- Propose and action improvements to procedures
- Implement call outs as per breakdown
- Maintenance of logbooks
- Validation of HVAC units and systems
- Issue and administer Safe Work Permits
- Execute small projects
