Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Accredited Trainer/Facilitator to educate our learners and develop their technical training programs to help develop skills that will make our learners confident and proficient technicians.
the company has recently been refurbished and can host up to 24 students at one given time. It has two separate classrooms and a training warehouse with all required tool kits, equipment, projectors and machinery for practical training and academic teaching. You will be supported by an Administrator to help with the daily functions of the Training Centre.
Our company offers a wide range of courses that cover apprenticeship courses, Learner ship courses, short courses and skills courses. All our course material is MerSETA accredited. Our trainer must be extremely knowledgeable in the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration field.
We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, has patience and able to explain complex subjects in a clear and interesting way.

Major Areas of Responsibility:
Teaching and interacting with learners
Devising technical training programs according to merSETA and SAQA
Prepare and maintain training schedules and classroom agendas
Determine course content according to our objectives of our clients and their brands
Prepare and update training material (presentations, worksheets etc)
Execute training sessions, workshops groups or individually
Arrange for and conduct on-site training when needed.
Actively market and promote the training facilities that the company offers
Observe and evaluate results of training programs and course materials
Determine overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements.

Requirements
Proven experience in a training environment for at least 5 years
Qualified / trade tested air-conditioning and refrigeration artisan or Mechanical engineer qualification or similar, with working experience in the HVACR industry
Good understanding of SETA’s specifically MERSETA, DG and MG grants
Good understanding of SAQA standards
Good administrative skills and excellent organisational and time-management abilities
Passion for teaching within the HVACR industry
Computer literate.
