Salary : R40000-R45000/month

Our Client, based in the West Rand area, requires an experienced and competent individual for this position urgently.

Requirements:

Valid Matric/Grade 12 certificate
Valid South African Driver’s License
Valid Red Seal Certificate – Fitting and Turning
Sound knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics systems essential
Experience in Hydraulic and Eccentric Press a distinct advantage
Proven track record of 5 – 7 years’ experience in same field

Age group 30 – 45 years
Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans with minimum 1 African language

Key Performance Areas:

Ensure all work practices comply with the SHEQ procedures
General and preventative maintenance and housekeeping on all earth moving equipment
Liaise with Suppliers on solving problems and identifying improvements
Good knowledge of problem solving methodologies
Ensures that maintenance and repairs are carried out, according to company quality standards at the Client, in the workshop and factory
Have Team Leader qualities – supervise and train team of artisans
Manage individual and team performance and quality of work
Strong administrative skills
Compile reports to ensure accurate maintenance and repair data
