Professional Hydrologist (Water & Environment)
An independent consultancy offering a wide range of professional services within the fields of water and environmental sciences is looking to hire a Hydrologist to be permanently based in Johannesburg. The successful candidate should be professionally registered with the SACNASP as a Professional Scientist

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Must have a Bachelors of Science or Masters of Science Degree in Hydrology
Must have 8 - 10 years within Hydrological environment
Must be registered with SACNASP as a Professional
Must have knowledge of hydrological science, environmental legislation and the National Water Act
Must have knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications
Must be able to perform Data Analysis and Water Calculations such as:
• Hydrological catchment delineation
• Hydrological calculations, including rainfall-runoff and peak flows
• Undertake flood line calculations
• Water & Salt balances
• Storm Water Management Planning
