I am now in search for a Lodge Manager for this 5 star luxury Lodge in KZN.Key Outputs:Meet every guest and ensure they know who is looking after themEnsuring all organizational requirements around delivering the perfect guest experience at the Lodge is planned for and executed on a daily basisEnsure our brand standards are always maintained in all areas that make up the guest experienceRepresent the company brand in appearance and behaviourCreate an environment where the company culture is fosteredInnovate new ideas and ways to edge the brand and improveEnsure that our culture of rewarding and recognizing of staff is followed through all levels of the lodgeEnsure that training & development of staff is coordinatedEnsure that controls and systems are in place to ensure the sustainability of the business as well as conserving our resourcesRelieve for the General Manager when on leaveHosting alternative nightsTaking the lead on groupsKNOWLEDGE REQUIRED (QUALIFICATIONS OR TRAINING PROGRAMS):At least 3 years relevant experience in a 5 star operationCompany KnowledgeValid unendorsed SA driver’s license essentialSKILLS REQUIRED:MS office knowledgeCommunication skills - with guests and fellow staff membersLateral thinking abilityInitiativeProfessional, courteous, hospitable to guestsMust be able to cope under pressure to meet guests needsLeadershipOrganizational abilitiesHonest, have good integrity, proactive and driven person who has career ambitionsGood interpersonal skillsPassion for guest delightPREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Experience in the service industry especially in dealing with guests and staffPrevious front of house, managerial experienceThe successful candidate should have an enquiring mind, be methodical, pay attention to detail, be creative, show perseverance and patience, ability to work under pressure, have high energy levels, be flexible, have the ability to overcome obstacles and persist with the task at hand, be decisive and adaptable.
