Requirement for IBM API Connect / Integration specialist
Work Location: Johannesburg, South Africa
Mode of employment: contract (6 months and extendable)

Job Spec:

Key Responsibilities :

1. Design, Develop and provide technical expertise on API Connect
2. Develop high level end to end designs and Micro to realise the business requirements based on Service Oriented Architecture
3. Design, Develop using API Connect on innovation projects
4. Develop Micro designs to fulfil the business requirements based on Service Oriented Architecture
5. Perform system analysis & provide consulting services to find suitable solutions to various business requirements across the enterprise
6. Provide technical expertise on API Connect and provide mentorship within the team
7. Manage Internal processes, Self, Stakeholder Relationships
8. Participate and provide input in review & sizing forums
Minimum required experience (essential disqualifier – relevant industry experience):

• 4-10 years in IT
• 2+ years development in API Management or Websphere API connect
• 3+ Websphere Datapower or Websphere Message Broker

Advantageous experience (not a disqualifier):

Skills (Technologies, systems or software knowledge etc.):

- Enterprise Application Integration (EAI)
- Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
- Integration Designer or Integration Developer
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Rational Software Architect (RSA)
