Main Purpose of the role:
To ensure that operations is up and running at all times and within client Service Levels and compliance with IT Standards at all times. To ensure GTS Cape Town is able to provide a Consistent Quality Service to its customers through the provision, and maintenance of leading edge IT Solutions and Services.

Main Functions of the role:
• Managing the Help Desk system by resolving and assigning tickets ensuring resolutions are within SLA.
• Assist the ICT Team with work functions
• Responds to and resolve technical issues
• Ensures that company IT assets are maintained according to company standards
• Maintenance of computer stations and software for the Company’s training programs and training facilities and proactively provides support

Experience and Qualifications:
• Matric, A+, N+ and MCSE coupled with Experience in 1st and 2nd Level support in a Helpdesk environment within a call centre environment

• Excellent MS Office package skills
• Exposure to ICT and Telephony (Avaya, Genesys) would be an advantage
• Installation of Printers and other hardware

Remuneration:
• R10000 monthly basic
• 2/3 Medical Aid Contribution
