Participate in the planning and design of enterprise security architecture, under the direction of the ICT Security Specialist, where appropriate; Participate in the creation of enterprise security documents (policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures) under the direction of the ICT Security Specialist, where appropriate; Participate in the planning and design of enterprise Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan, under the direction of the ICT Security Specialist, where appropriate; Maintain up-to date detailed knowledge of the IT security industry including awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes and the development of new attacks and threat vendors; Recommend additional security solutions or enhancements to existing security solutions to improve overall enterprise security; Maintain up-to-date baselines for secure configuration and operations of all in –place devices, whether thy be under direct control (i.e security tools) or not (i.e workstations, servers, network devices, etc.); Maintain operational configurations of all in –place security solutions as the established baselines; Monitor all in-place security solutions for efficient and appropriate operations.

ND: Information Technology (NQF Level 6), degree will be an added advantage; 3 years working experience in ICT Security; Familiar with Microsoft and CISCO; • Familiar with HP hardware; Experience with operating systems (Windows) and network; Knowledge and hands-on experience with TCP/IP and other network protocols. Knowledge of firewall architecture and design, network architecture, and monitoring and reporting solutions to proactively identify issues and mitigate risks; Knowledge of information security concepts and methodologies; Knowledge of compliances (PCI DSS, POPI, and so on) and IS standards (ISO 27001, ISO 20000, OWASP, and so on).
