This lovely private hospital situated in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town seeks an experienced ICU Registered Nurse that is willing to nurse paediatric critically ill patients (PICU) as well to join their ICU team.

Key Responsibilities of this ICU Registered Nurse include:
• Deliver comprehensive patient care to critically ill patients
• Adhere to Patients’ Rights
• Prevent, report and manage medico-legal risks
• Conduct patient care audits
• Ensure that patient records and registers meet legal requirements
• Control stock and equipment in accordance with hospital’s policy
• Provide learner support to learners and new employees.
• Maintain health and safety standards; comply with IPC policy

Requirements:
• Registered with SANC as a Professional Nurse
• Prior experience in a similar unit

• Knowledge of clinical procedures, the Scientific Nursing Process and BCA bundles.
