Highly successful hospital along the west coast seeks ICU trained and experienced ICU RN to work in this busy Cardio thoracic ICU.

Key Responsibilities:

• This unit consist of 16 Beds and hugely involves cardiac thoracic surgery
• Duties include advanced hemodynamic monitoring including vasoactive drug management
• Advanced modes of ventilation e.g. High Frequency Oscillation
• Cardiac monitoring.
• Arterial Line Monitoring
• Central venous Lines & Pressure Monitoring.

Requirement:

• Be registered with SANC as an RN
• Must have Cardio thoracic experience
• Must have Cardio thoracic experience
• Must be ventilated competent
• Competent in all Cardiac Monitoring and Titration of inotropes and vasoactive medications
• IABP – Intra-aortic balloon pump management
• Cardiac arrest including assistance in the management of open chest
• Airway management including invasive and non-invasive ventilation
