Seeking a senior ICU trained Registered nurse with at least 3 years management experience to manage an Adult ICU unit in a private hospital in the KZN area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for continuous performance management, quality management and people management.
• Management of the unit as a clinical and business entity.
• Ensures goals are aligned with corporate strategy.
• Adheres to Patients’ Rights at all times.
• Identifies risks and implements controls.
• Compiles and manages capital, operational and personnel budgets.

Applicants for this position must :

• Registered with the South African Nursing Council as a Professional Nurse.
• Prior management experience will be an advantage.
• ICU qualified (ICU Trained)
• Post Basic in Nursing Management
• Need to have a minimum of 3 years Management or Supervisor experience
• At least 5 years of ICU experience
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Competence in the demonstration and assessment of all relevant clinical procedures and management of risks.
• Sound knowledge of stock management.
