IT Consultant (BD) – Supply Chain

R500 000 – R600 000 per annum

The minimum levels of work experience and qualifications required for this role are:

• 2 – 4  years of experience in implementing supply chain planning software or consulting using supply chain software.
• Typical software products include CAST, Optimiza, i2 Strategist, Just Enough, Llamasoft, JDA, Netstock, Manugistics, SAP APO, FLO, OPSI or similar.
• Appropriate degree such as B.Sc Industrial Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification

The consultant works on consulting projects using Company’s suite of supply chain software to:

• Implement inventory management and demand planning software for clients
• Perform supply chain network modelling projects for clients
• Data manipulation and analysis is a key part of the job, as part of the software implementation/modelling project.
• Strong technical capability is required, as well as good people skills.
• The consultant has a passion for working with software, and can quickly learn and apply new software technologies.
• The consultant has a passion for supply chain planning, and for using software technologies to solve client problems.
• The consultant works in a project team under the leadership and guidance of a senior consultant, but is also required to assist and guide analysts, and take the initiative on the project when appropriate. 
• The consultant is able to work in teams, but is also able to work independently and take the initiative when required
