Title: Imports Air and Sea Freight Controller

Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:
• Matric.
• At Least 3-4 Years’ experience in Air/Sea freight Imports and Exports.
• Advanced Computer Literate.
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities
• Comfortable in fast paced environment
• Ability to work under immense pressure and to effectively multi-task
• Team player, highly motivated, flexible
• Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written)

Main Responsibilities:
• Full function of shipment files, service provider costs and quality assure rates inline
• Cargo info, rates and method with client and international offices
• Tracking of shipments from indent to POD and invoice payment
• Support and back up of team ensuring client expectations are met
• Coordinate clearing instruction from client and advise clearing agent to forward original bill of landing to handover to entries for processing
• Develop relationships with all carriers, agents and clients to increase confidence and reputation of business driving brand awareness and
loyalty

Salary Range: R 8 000 to R 10 000
