Project and Programme management of Strategic Projects. Secondary, assisting CIP for current operations. Ensuring compliance to engineering standards and best practice development.
Minimum Requirements:
BSc / BEng non negotiable & essential, BTech will not be considered
Minimum of 3 years Industrial Engineering experience within a logistics environment.
Must have experience in the Automotive industry.
Previous working experience within Production Logistics or Line Side Supply for an automotive manufacturer.
Warehouse design and costing experience.
Sound knowledge of engineering economics and fundamental accounting principles.
At least 1 year customer relations experience.
Drivers license and own transport.
Ability to travel in and around SA as well as for extended periods globally.
AutoCad, MS Visio, MS Project, SAP & Other WMS / ERP. Advanced Excel
Duties:
Design and Price proposed solutions that includes (Warehouse Layout, Staffing Calc’s, MHE requirement).
Use of global pricing model.
Creating and assisting with Client proposal and presentations.
Schedule and plan continuous improvement initiatives using recognized methodologies like Lean, 6 Sigma, etc.
Evaluate and analyse data, processes and material flow related to existing Logistics operations in order to identify improvement opportunities.
Implement initiatives and monitor quantitative benefits of changes.
Develop business cases for financial investments where required, including ROI calculations, quantified value, productivity improvements, etc.
Documenting, monitoring and communicating project timelines, milestones and objectives.
Establishing task teams and guiding them through process of stabilization of operations
Follow disciplined change management process to ensure that implemented changes are sustainable.
Use and further enhance the Site Health Check process.
Problem solving facilitation and training where required.
Developing innovative solutions with clients.
Working closely with Project, Quality & IT teams to ensure standardization of best practices
Salary: R40k per month
