Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing granular knowledge of Dynaman WMS – setups, configurations, restrictions, master data
• creation
• Day to day maintenance of the Dynaman WMS – ensure SQL database is operating correctly, messaging is working correctly, dealing with problem alerts within WMS and interfaces, connectivity to sites
• First level of internal support to DC’s for WMS problems – adding users, changing basic setup’s, troubleshooting, fixing errors
• Work closely with the System Administrator to ensure archiving is taking place correctly and integrations
are working as they should
• Point of contact with WMS supplier – setup changes, enhancements, managing upgrades, problem
resolution
• Translating business requirements into WMS functionality – from specification, setup, configuration,
testing, training and roll-out
• Driving on-going process improvement within DC operations and WMS
• Mine data, understand data and build models continuously to aid in driving process improvements
• Build reporting and dashboards to enhance managements view of processes and efficiency
• Develop material and train staff on new processes and re-train existing processes and staff as needed
• Keep all system functionality documentation complete and current
• Pro-actively be involved in all logistics projects

Qualifications and attributes:

• Tertiary education is essential – (Industrial Engineering or B.Comm Logistics preferred)
• Sound Microsoft SQL experience and understanding
• Analytically minded and able to find and use data to inform decision making;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans;
• Ability to produce creative ideas to processes and systems skills;
