JOB PURPOSE:
World Leading Automotive Components Manufacturing Company requires a Industrial Engineer at their Rosslyn Plant. The Industrial Engineer will be responsible to Build and Provide Production plans, Flow charts, Times studies, Implement Engineering and Product changes to production lines and update Production Plans.

JOB DISCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Build production plans - plan capacity and monitor capacity based on the requirements of OEM volumes and available time taking into account the variables of the production environment including but not limited to man and machine.
• Conduct work study exercises which include but not limited to multiple activity charts, Process/material flow charts, travel (from-to) charts, two hand process charts etc. to enable the building of production plans, capacity plans and capacity monitoring.
• Conduct method and time studies - apply statistical methods and apply mathematical calculations to determine staff requirements and production standards.
• Draft and design layout of equipment, materials and work space to illustrate maximum efficiency, using drafting tools and computers.
• OEE Monitoring for Time Studies/Process Optimization (driven by OEE), Process Flow and Time Related quality/quantity.
• Plan and implement company projects effectively and efficiently taking into consideration all associated costs and environmental changes.
• Update Project Plans & conduct MPT’s and Manage Projects within Specified Budget.
• Manage and implement changes to products as per client requests while keeping quality and cost at the required levels.
• Plan Engineering Changes, Process Optimization & Capacity Planning.
• Arrange Quotations for Engineering Changes.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure that scrap is reduced to its lowest possibility during the course of an engineering change.
• Communicate Changes internally and externally.
• Submit all required and complete documentation to stakeholders in accordance with plans and agreed timeframes.
• Prepare & conduct process, system, product or compliance audits of the manufacturing or management processes within the company in accordance with ISO requirements.
• Ensure SHEMS Requirements have been complied with.
• Comply with both legal and Company requirements with respect to health, safety and the environment.
• Ensure PPE, 5S and that SHEMS Procedures are followed.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Diploma Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering
• 2-4 Years’ experience as Industrial Engineer
• Planning and project management skills
• Mechanical Orientated, and problem solver
• Systems/Process Orientated Good time management skills
• People orientated
• Creative in Business objectives
• Driving High Level of Results while Balancing Time, Quality & Cost
• Verbally well presentable
