Our Client in Free State is looking for an Industrial Engineer to join their company

Requirements
B.Eng Industrial Engineering or generic in production/ engineering/operations
Diploma in Management will be advantageous
Engineering experience in a production plant will be advantageous
Exhibit a solution-oriented approach and be able to work effectively under pressure
Strong analytical and project management skills
Understand organizational requests and based upon them, design and create requirements for elegant solutions that serve the needs of business
Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problem
Passionate and knowledgeable about continuous improvement

Duties and Responsibilities
Work with various teams to reduce process and business variations
Review and update business procedures and documents based on project requirements
Identify opportunities for improvement in the FMCG Chain
Drive operational excellence within the FMCG Chain
The effective management of projects within the approved project timeframe and budget
Determine the profitability of projects.
Retraction of payback periods
The planning for capital projects
Operational impact study and presentation of n new product series
To mentor and direct all relevant staff to maintain standards, practices and processes
To be informed of all relevant legislation and new amendments to relevant legislation, technology, products, processes and techniques by receiving workshops, seminars, articles and training as well as informing all concerned staff
