PACKAGE
3 Year contract (renewable)

Single and family contracts available.

Generous Tax free basic salary. Offered according to experience.

From 11400 QAR up to 21000 QAR per month. This is up to +/- 5750 USD, 5300 EUR, 4500 GBP, 400 000 INR, 275 000 SDG, 4000 JOD, 17400 TND.

Free fully furnished accommodation provided.

Transport allowance of 1250 QAR per month added to your basic salary.

Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For those with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).

School allowance: 21 000 QAR (maximum) for up to 3 children (ages 5- 18) per child per academic year provided that they are studying in private schools in Doha.

40 days paid annual vacation days.

End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:

Minimum- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare related field or Public health.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum - 3 Years Clinical experience after graduation (Registered Nurse, Epidemiologist or Medical Technologist). Must include infection control experience.

LICENSE:

Valid Primary License from the country of origin if applicable AND should be eligible for license in the State of Qatar within the Supreme Council of Health.

CERTIFICATION:

CIC certificate Board certified in Infection Prevention and Control by the CBIC ( Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology).

JOB SPECIFICATION
POSITION SUMMARY:
To implement, promote and maintain and active infection control program through surveillance and investigative activities, consultation, education, policy development and research throughout the medical group. To work collaboratively with staff, departments and administration to reduce the risk of nonsocial infections among patients. To assure that facilities and services are in compliance with infection control practice as well as local, state and regulatory infection control standards.

COMMON RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs duties and responsibilities commensurate with assigned functional area within a departments which may include, but or not limited to, any combination of the following tasks:
1. Collect, review, analyze and interpret surveillance data and recommend appropriate actions to clinicians and administrators targeted to reduce or eliminate infectious risks in patients and staff.
2. Conduct investigations of outbreaks
3. Conduct activities related to exposure of patients and employees to communicable diseases.
4. Develop, review, evaluate and implement infection control policies to improve quality of care.
5. Develop review and maintain infection control manuals for areas.
6. Plan, develop and conduct in service education programs for employees
7. Consult with department and administrative staff on infection control issues.
8. Initiate and participated in quality improvement projects
9. Develop routine quality improvement reports
10. Perform other departmental duties as assigned
