Infection Prevention and Control Coordinator
A leading Private healthcare provider in South and the United Kingdom is seeking to employ an Infection Prevention and Control Co-ordinator to be permanently based in Pretoria, Gauteng. The successful candidate should be able to manage all the functions related to the provision, promotion and assurance of infection control consultation. They will be responsible for ensuring optimum contribution to the functioning of the hospital.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Must have a Bachelor of Nursing Science or Diploma in General Nursing
Must be registered as a Nurse with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
Must have a minimum of 7-10 years’ experience as a Registered nurse and 2 years as an Infection Control Co-ordinator in a hospital
Must have a 12 month certificate or diploma in Infection Prevention and Control
Must be have good knowledge on Infection Prevention including but not limited to- Risk Management and compliance with legislation
