An Infrastructure Architect with experience in the Insurance space is wanted for a very well established company in the Johannesburg CBD area.
Minimum requirements
• B.Sc. Computer Science or relevant tertiary qualification.
• 5-7+ Years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience with (VMware, AWS, Azure and Private Cloud implementations and Containerisation
• Experience in design, architecture and modelling processes.
• Certification and practical experience in using ArchiMate modelling language advantageous
• Consulting frameworks
• Understanding of business strategy and IT alignment and
• Insurance industry experience (short-term or life) and good understanding of the industry, competition and processes a bonus.

• Stakeholder management, negotiation and conflict management
• Strong leadership skills; motivating and building teams, decision-making and action-orientation
• Mentoring and teaching of junior engineers and operational teams
• Presentation skills and consulting for technical and business teams
